Some pictures of the changes in the Asfordby area, mainly concerning the creation of the new depot.

Asfordby station was on the Syston to Peterborough line

This is now known as Asfordby North Junction and the depot is round the curve to the left

The former coal storage shed (Building F) at Asfordby which was chosen to become the new depot for Pendolino operation at the test track is pictured during the summer of 2000
