During the electrification and upgrade by Alstom in
2000, the clearance between the overbridge at Folly Hall curve and the pantograph on the test vehicle is being checked on this view looking south. Just south of this bridge was the commencement point of the original OHLE equipment. |

pantograph clearance work on the A46 road bridge. The portal structure is original and used to carry the test length of non-energised OHLE which was used for dynamic pantograph testing for many years.
