For those of you who may wish to visit the test track in daylight, the following information may be of use. In addition to the SSL stock (which runs as required on the line) one or two NR test trains run regularly from Derby RTC and back in order to carry out certain tests at Old Dalby.

Here are the timings for one of the paths, MONDAYS ONLY. Please be aware that these test trains can be cancelled or fail etc so there is always an element of 'pot luck' when venturing out to photograph them.
