	On a winter's day in 1956 Stanier Class 8F No: 48305 heads east through Melton Mowbray Town Station with a coal train having probably travelled down the main line from Toton, via Loughborough and Syston Jcn. This loco was saved from the scrap yard and presently awaits restoration. H N James
