Grimston Station The site of the station at Grimston, looking north, in the summer of 1999. The test line is on the original Down formation at this point. The edge of the Up platform can be seen amongst the weeds. The original MR railings were still in-situ here at the time.

Grimston underbridge

The view in the opposite direction during the upgrade in the winter of late 2000/01 shows the underbridge with its original balustrade. The undergrowth has been cut back and in the background the masts are going up.

From an almost identical viewpoint 46 years earlier a Melton to Nottingham local approaches Grimston station over the same bridge.
