In October 2013 the BRB Residuary was abolished and the line passed to NR ownership

The line is currently used to test and commission Bombardier's latest Aventra series of EMUs including the class 345 EMU for Crossrail and 710 for London Overground plus the class 720 units (for Greater Anglia)

Rail Operations Group handled all the transfers to/from Old Dalby.

GBRailfreight took over the running of the test track in April

The continuing delays with Crossrail and late deliveries of class 710 units for the Goblin Line has meant these units were stored at Worksop amongst other sites

Most of the work for NR with the infrastructure monitoring trains has now moved to High Marnham
